Gulf Shores Condos for Sale on Mobile Bay

Mobile Bay sits between Fort Morgan condos and Mobile, AL with numerous areas sitting on the bay, with additional units such as:  Daphne condos, Fairhope condos and Spanish Fort condos.  Mobile Bay also runs in to condos on Bon Secour Bay to the East near downtown Gulf Shores and has Dauphin Island to the far East - on the other side of Mobile.  The condos that sit on Mobile Bay in Gulf Shores include Navy Cove, Sailboat Bay and Navy Cove Harbor.  The Rookery is a group of smaller homes that sit towards the end of the 22-mile - Fort Morgan rd. / State Hwy. 180 which is the peninsula at the very bottom of Gulf Shores that juts out in to the Gulf of Mexico.  Across the bay from Gulf Shores is Dauphin Island condos in Mobile County.

The end of Fort Morgan is approximately 22 miles from the intersection at Hwy 59 with another two miles to the beach intersection at the Gulf of Mexico.  To the right or West from this intersection, Beach rd. runs down about 5 miles before it ends at Laguna Key.  This area of Gulf Shores features some outstanding views of the Gulf of Mexico and at night, the natural gas platforms light up making for a beautiful scene.  This area is full of beach houses and homes with gulf access, but not many condos.  The last high-rise condos on the gulf in Gulf Shores is Seacrest and Sunrise Village is an older building and wooden construction, but kept in great shape offering a more economical way to own a gulf-front condominium in Gulf Shores.  West Beach is a little more quiet and also more secluded, especially with the road dead-ending at Laguna Key.
