Elberta is a small community with a big future ahead of it. Just minutes from the Gulf of Mexico, this tiny town has recently experienced a good deal of population growth. The census in 2000 reported the population of Elberta to be 552; the most recent census in 2010 reported a growth of 171.4% to 1,498 residents. As the nearby cities of Foley, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach continue to grow, it can be expected that Elberta will, as well. Search Using Elberta AL Subdivisions

Bay Harbor is located in South Elberta on Wolf Bay.  The homes in Bay Harbor are minutes by water from Pirate's Cove and a short run to Perdido Pass and the entrance to the Gulf of Mexico.

Bayside Place is also in the Southern portion of Elberta, AL and also a short run by boat to Pirate's Cove.  Elberta, AL is home to the annual Sausage Festival and one of the area's great markets in the Elberta Meat Market on Highway 98.

Bonnie Acres is in central Elberta, AL.  The subdivision is close to a variety of Elberta's area attractions as well as the larger cities of Mobile, AL and Pensacola, AL.


Elsa Henry is located off Co Rd 97 in the Perdido community of Elberta, AL.  This neighborhood is heavily wooded with mature oak trees and runs along Palmetto Creek providing immediate access to Terry Cove and the Gulf of Mexico.

Fish Trap subdivision in Elberta, Alabama sits right on Wolf Bay, just a few minutes north of Orange Beach and west of Pensacola, Florida. Hidden Creek Estates is a quiet subdivision in Elberta, AL with many of its homes located directly on Miflin Creek.  Boaters can reach the Gulf of Mexico heading south through Milfin Creek and Wolf Bay.  The neighborhood is minutes from the Foley Beach Express allowing easy trips to Foley, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach.


Idlewild Estates sits near Wolf Bay, which you can follow down to Perdido Pass and the Gulf of Mexico by boat. In fact, many of the houses and lots here sit right on the water, giving you boat access. Elberta was originally founded by Swedish and German farmers and that heritage is still celebrated every year during the annual sausage festival and other smaller events. Many houses here sit on heavily wooded lots with big yards that make an ideal place for the kids to run around and explore all year long.

Josephine Beach is an exclusive neighborhood comprised of mostly waterfront homes in the unincorporated community of Josephine, AL.  It is a short trip by boat to Perdido Pass and the Gulf of Mexico from these homes.  Popular waterfront restaurant, Pirate's Cove, can be reached in a few minutes by water.

Juniper Creek is a private, heavily-wooded neighborhood in central Elberta close to Hwy 98.  The community is minutes from local schools and Elberta's quaint downtown district offering retail boutiques, and locally owned restaurants & businesses.


Lavina-Hilty-Marr is just minutes away from shopping in Foley and within walking distance to Elberta schools and shopping. Orange Beach, with its famous white-sand beaches and numerous entertainment venues, is just a few minutes south of Elberta and can even be reached by boat from nearby Wolf Bay. Elberta is  quiet little town, perfect for families looking for a safe place to raise their children in Baldwin County.

Miflin Manor homes are just a few minutes south of both downtown Elberta and Foley. Wolf Bay and some of its numerous tributaries run very close to Miflin Manor, making travel down to nearby Orange Beach and the Gulf of Mexico by boat quick and easy. This is a rural area, but the cities of Pensacola and Mobile are easily reached and offer a variety of shopping and dining areas that aren't found in Elberta.

Palm Springs Acres has both homes and empty lots available, many of which are heavily wooded and/or right on the water, making travel by boat a possibility. This is a rural community, but within easy driving distance of the larger cities of Pensacola, Florida and Mobile, Alabama


Perdido Beach is a rural area in the southern half of Baldwin County, just north of Orange Beach, Alabama. There are both houses and empty lots available here, many of which are heavily wooded with large yard.

Perdido Beach Terrace is located just north of Orange Beach, Alabama. Wolf Bay is within walking distance and some houses sit directly on the bay. There are both houses and empty lots, many of which are heavily wooded.

Perdido Vista is in the southern region of Elberta just east of Co Rd 97.  Most of these homes sit on serene Soldier's Creek surrounded by mature live oaks and hardwood trees.  A nature lover's paradise, the area is great for kayaking and sightseeing for native wildlife such as great blue herons and ospreys.


Pinewood Shores is located off Co Rd 20 and minutes from the Foley Beach Express.  This quiet neighborhood features mostly wooded lots and some waterfront homes on Wolf Bay.  Nearby is Wolf Bay Launch, a public waterfront park that offers a boat ramp and fishing pier for residents to use.

Pirates Cove is a treasured waterfront community nestled along Roberts Bayou.  Just minutes away is the infamous Pirate's Cove grill and marina, famous for its bushwackers and lively festivals.  Down the road is Barber Marina, a world-class boating facility providing dry storage and marine service center.  

Plantation Harbour is an RV resort and mobile home community directly off Co Rd 20.  Backing up to Miflin Creek, the neighborhood offers a fishing pier, clubhouse, outdoor pool, BBQ area, and gated entrance into the neighborhood.


Plantation Park is a mobile home community on the southern side of Miflin Creek.  These homes are either waterfront or have deeded access.  The neighborhood offers a fishing pier and gazebo.  The Foley Beach Express is minutes away providing quick trips to Orange Beach or Gulf Shores.

Ponderosa Estates is a rural community in Elberta, AL and is located off Stucki Rd near Hammock Creek.  Most residences are ranch-style homes sitting on wooded lots averaging several acres.  The Town of Elberta can be reached in under 10 minutes and the cities, Gulf Shores & Orange Beach, are approximately 30 minutes away.

River Junction homes are located in the Miflin region and central to both Foley and Elberta.  The Foley Beach Express is just 2 miles to the west and residents can reach Orange Beach restaurants, shopping, and entertainment in about 20 minutes.


Sandy Creek is a small rural neighborhood located south of Hwy 98 in Elberta.  The community sits close to naval airfield, Barin Nolf and is a short drive to the Town of Elberta and Foley Beach Express.

Shallow Creek consists of rural homes within minutes to the Town of Elberta and near public schools, restaurants, and Elberta Grocery Store.  The Foley Beach Express is a short distance away and provides a quick route to larger cities, like Orange Beach & Foley, and several entertainment spots including OWA and The Wharf Amphitheater.

Soldiers Creek is a residential community in the southern region of Elberta, AL.  The subdivision is a short distance to Elberta's downtown area, Lillian, and the city of Pensacola to the east just over the Perdido Bay bridge.


Stone Quarry is located near Arnica Bay and Bay La Launch which are just East of Wolf Bay.  The homes in Stone Quarry are a short trip via boat from many area attractions and a longer car ride due to the location of Stone Quarry.  Downtown Foley, AL is approximately 15 - 20 minutes and the expressway connects Orange Beach, AL and the interstate making travel to this area fairly easy and traffic-free.

Woerner subdivision is located just West of Soldier's Creek golf club and North of Wolf Bay.  This small subdivision does not usually have many homes for sale, but located approximately 15 - 20 minutes from downtown Foley and in a rural area;  secluded from the traffic of the area's larger cities.

Wolf Bay Estate is located just East of Glenlakes golf club in Foley, AL and just North of the inland waterways stemming from Wolf Bay.  The homes in Wolf Bay Estates are approximately 15 - 20 minutes from downtown Foley, AL and the new Foley Beach Express now connecting all the way to I-10 makes travel in this are much easier.  Orange Beach is now a straight shot and quick and easy to reach.  The new addition connects the expressway directly to Orange Beach, AL and the Wharf and Amphitheater.

Wolf Bay Plantation homes are located East of Glenlakes golf club which sits in between county road 12 and county road 20.  The Wolf Bay Plantation subdivision is approximately 15 - 20 minutes from downtown Foley and sits North, northeast of Wolf Bay and near the inland waterways branching North from Wolf Bay.  The subdivision is easily reached from the Foley Beach Express and the new connection makes travel to I-10 much, much easier and a straight shot to Orange Beach also.

Wolf's Run subdivision is located in between Glenlakes golf club and Soldier's Creek golf club in Elberta, AL.  The homes are approximately 20 minutes from downtown Foley, AL and the new connection of the Foley Beach Expressway makes traveling to Orange Beach, AL or the interstate a straight shot and fairly free from traffic.  Wolf's Run is in a rual area, yet close enough to Foley to make convenience stops pretty easy.

As a city founded by farmers with an eye for good land, it is to be expected that Elberta still gives off a strongly rural vibe. Foley, which is very close to Elberta, has the nearest hospital. Although Elberta has its own elementary and middle schools, high school students will need to go to Foley for class. The weather in Elberta is much the same as in other coastal communities. It is hot in the summer and then warm through the winter with above average rainfall throughout the year. Elberta is at risk for hurricanes and tropical storms due to its close proximity to the Gulf of Mexico. Snow is almost unheard of in this part of Alabama. Elberta, like many cities in this area, can be expected to grow as the cities of Fairhope, Orange Beach, Spanish Fort, and Gulf Shores attract more people looking for a place to settle down and call home.
