Silverhill, Alabama is a small town that sits close to Robertsdale in Baldwin County. The 2000 Census reported that there were 616 residents of Silverhill. By 2010, that number had increased to 706 residents: a 14.6% increase in population. Those 706 residents were broken up between 241 households and 178 families. Of the 241 households, 32.4% had children under 18 living in them. A lot of the families in Silverhill have Swedish or German ancestry, which is unsurprising as the town was founded by Swedish immigrants. Silverhill is part of Baldwin County, which is home to one of the best education systems in the entire state of Alabama. Silverhill has one local elementary school, but no middle or high school. Instead, students travel to a middle and high school in Robertsdale. Robertsdale is also home to a vocational skill that some Silverhill residents can choose to go to after high school. There is a very low number of violent crimes committed in Silverhill every year and they fall far below the national average for violent crime. Property crimes are a bit of a problem, but they are not typically serious. The nearest hospital to Silverhill is located just about ten miles away in Foley, Alabama.  
Residents in Silverhill enjoy a close proximity to the Gulf-front communities of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. These are popular vacation destinations for tourists from all over the world, but are especially easy for residents of Silverhill to reach. The downside to being this close to the coast is the threat of hurricanes and tropical storms, but major hurricanes are not common in this area. The cities of Mobile, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida are both less than an hour away and offer all the benefits of a big city within easy driving distance.

According to the most recent census, Silverhill is home to approximately 616 people, 241 households and 178 of which live in the town limits.  Silverhill was founded in 1897.  The first settlers were came from Scandinavia and began what is now the town of Silverhill.  Silverhill has a variety of homes for sale ranging from small residential homes to large plantation style residences.
