Pensacola Beach, Florida is one of the most popular Gulf Coast destinations in Northwest Florida. The median household income earned by those between the ages of 25 and 44 is estimated at $72,404. It is estimated that 33.2% of Pensacola Beach's population has earned a Bachelor's degree and 22.5% of the population has a graduate degree, which likely helps account for the high median income.  
There are some elementary and middle schools in Pensacola Beach, but the nearby city of Gulf Breeze has the nearest high school. Pensacola is the nearest large city and can be reached via bridge that stretches over the Santa Rosa Sound. Pensacola Beach's crime rate is generally below average, making this a safe location for both residents and visitors. The area is surrounded by protected, undeveloped seashores which lure in nature lover's from all over the country. Although Pensacola Beach is largely a tourist city, those who live here enjoy a small-town feel without having to give up all of the benefits that a big city has to offer since Pensacola is just a short drive away. Pensacola is home to Naval Air Station Pensacola, a large naval air base and home to the famous Blue Angels. It's not uncommon for residents and visitors to Pensacola Beach to see the Blue Angels practicing in the skies above Pensacola and the Gulf of Mexico.

Pensacola Beach has been nationally recognized by TripAdvisor for having some of the best beaches in the country and one of the best in the world. The sugar-white sand is soft and fluffy and the warm emerald-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico are absolutely stunning no matter what time of year it is. Fishing enthusiasts often go to the Gulf of Mexico for large fishing trips, as there are several species of large fish that you can find in abundance in an offshore or inshore fishing trip.
Pensacola Beach is a small community and the schools in this area enjoy smaller class sizes in both the charter and regular public schools. There are plenty of different places for families to explore and make memories in. The Fort Pickens camping and picnic grounds are perfect for a summer overnight adventure under the stars and the undeveloped beaches of the Gulf Islands National Seashore are a favorite with nature lovers hoping to catch a sight of some of the natural wildlife in the area.
The Gulf Coast is famous for it fresh seafood and Pensacola Beach is no exception. Peg Leg Pete's is a local favorite for casual dining and beautiful views of the water while The Grand Marlin is preferred for a romantic date night in an upscale location. These are just a couple of the numerous restaurants found in the area which serve up fresh seafood and other dishes. The Pensacola Boardwalk is popular with both tourists and residents for its eclectic collection of restaurants, shops, and watersport rentals.
