Ancient Oaks is located approximately two miles east of Hwy 59 on CR 4 in Gulf Shores. The subdivision consists of custom built homes and was developed circa 2005. Brigadoon Heights is located 2 miles west of Hwy 59 on Hwy 180 in Gulf Shores. It is located conveniently less than five minutes from the beach. Bright's Retreat is located off CR 6, west of the Gulf Shores sports complex and Hwy 59. These newer homes that were built mostly in the early to mid 2000's, just prior to the real estate recession. Buchanan Court is located west on Hwy 180 at the 2.5 mile marker in the Ft. Morgan area. It is located close to the Ft. Morgan public beach area. Cabana Beach is located approximately 11 miles west of Gulf Shores on Hwy 180 in the Ft. Morgan area. Craft Farms is located north of the Intracoastal Waterway off of Hwy 59 and CR 4. It is one of the premier golf course communities in Gulf Shores. In addition boasts two 18 hole championship golf courses designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus. The residents have the opportunity to become a member of either the golf or club. Club membership includes the use of a outdoor pool, tennis courts, club house with private dining and locker rooms. Craft Farms consists of 7 different smaller villages. Each of the villages has their own flair and style of homes. The entry level homes are smaller patio homes that begin around 1900 sq. ft in size. Craft Farms North is located about 2 miles north of the Intracoastal Waterway off of Hwy 59 on CR 8 east. This brand new subdivision is currently being developed by D. R. Horton. It is situated adjoining the Craft Farms communities and offers its residents club memberships to Craft Farms. Amenities include golf membership, access to club house with private restaurant, and locker rooms, outdoor pool and tennis courts. These custom built homes by D. R. Horton are 3-5 bedrooms, 2000 - 4000 sq. ft. Building lots are available. Note: there is one area with smaller more affordable homes as well.
Crimson Ridge is located adjacent to Craft Farms North on CR 8 east. This development was began in 2005 and is still under construction. (Lots are available.) This new subdivision consists of patio style homes that are 1600 sq. ft. and slightly larger.
Cypress Park is located on West Canal Rd in Gulf Shores. Government is a tract of land located approximately 11-12 miles west on Ft. Morgan Rd. It is part of a government survey and is not zoned. The area offers larger parcels of land with several over 2-3 acres. There are lots and homes that are directly on the Gulf or just offering access. These raised beach houses can range between $250,000 and $1,500,000 in price.
Granite Cove is located about 1 mile west off of Hwy 59 on CR 8. Granite Cove is a subdivision that was begun in 2009. Due to the real estate market down turn, the subdivision is still mostly undeveloped. New homes that are built are required to be 2500 square feet or larger. There are lots available to build. The subdivision consists of approximately 25-30 home sites.
Gulf Beach is a group of beach houses located 4 miles west on Beach Blvd in Gulf Shores. The homes are all gulf front homes and are raised beach houses and cottages. Gulf Beach Fort Morgan is located west on Ft. Morgan Rd. (Hwy 180) between mile marker 2-3. It is an area towards the end of Fort Morgan that offers the perfect place that is off the beaten path. Homes in the beach front community offer beach access for those homes not directly on the beach.

Gulfwinds is located west of mile marker 5 on Hwy 180 west. The homes in Gulfwinds are located in the Fort Morgan area and are all raised beach homes. These first and second tier homes are mostly "upper scale" with prices as much as $750,000. this is another smaller addition that provides its residents true beach living.
Gulf Woods is located on Ft. Morgan Rd. or 8th Ave, right in Gulf Shores. Gulf Woods is an older addition with some newer and remodeled houses mixed in. There is a nice mixture of styles of homes with contemporary, raised beach houses and cottages. The homes are hidden away from the tourist laden spots of Gulf Shores, with many of the homes located Lagoon front or with lagoon access. The addition also is known for all the beautiful trees. Most of the homes are 2-5 bedrooms, 1000 - 3500 sq.ft. that range from $150,000 - $350,000 (with a few exceptions).
Gulfwood Highlands is located off Hwy 180 in Gulf Shores. Take 2nd Ave and then onto Magnolia Drive. Gulfwood Highlands consists mostly of ranch style and raised beach homes (depending on whether or not you are located on the Lagoon or further back). The neighborhood has a public lagoon access and boat docks. Homes can range as little as $75,000 to $600,000 with homes built from 1970's to present day.
Heritage Shores is located we of mile marker 3 on Hwy 180 (Ft. Morgan Rd). This is a newer addition that was developed starting in 1995 with homes still being built. Heritage Shores offers beautiful gulf views and residents that are not directly on the Gulf, have beach access. The homes are raised beach houses, 3-5 bedrooms, 1350 - 3000 sq. ft. The amenities include a gazebo, meeting room, outdoor pool and tennis court.
Indian Shores is located on the north side of Ft. Morgan Rd. approximately 4 miles west of Gulf Shores. It is a slightly older addition with ranch style homes. A great feature of this community is its proximity to numerous area amenities, including three of the areas best golf courses.
Jordan Run is located north of the Intracoastal Waterway on Hwy 59. Just turn east on CR 4 and proceed one mile. This small subdivision consists entirely of custom built, ranch style homes. Jordan Run was developed by local builder Keith Walthers in 2005-2006. Each of these ranch style, brick homes are between 3-4 bedrooms, 1500-2000 sq. ft. Jordan Run offers a highly popular location that is walking distance to the Pinnacle Shopping Center with numerous restaurants, shops, grocery stores and even a movie theater!
Kelsey Place andKelsey Place Phase II is located on CR 4 approximately 3 miles east of Hwy 59. It as well offers a convenient location close to the Pinnacle Shopping Center, as well as being less than 5 minutes from Foley, Orange Beach or the Gulf Shores beaches. It is located on waterway but is conveniently located just blocks away from a public boat launch and five minutes to the beach. This is the perfect affordable place for the person wanting to escape to fish or vacation. Prices begin as low as $55,000 and go up.
Lagoon Pass is located west on Beach Blvd. on approximately 3 miles, just over the Lagoon Pass bridge. Lagoon Pass offers views of both the beach and Little Lagoon. Martinique On The Gulf is located west on Ft. Morgan Rd. approx. 10.5 miles. It is nestled in one of Alabama's premier gulf front communities. Martinique was developed in 2002 with cottage style, raised beach homes. Each residence is 3-4 bedrooms and between 1750 - 2600 sq. ft. McPhilips is located east of Hwy 59 on 1st and 2nd Ave. in Gulf Shores. These beach houses are just 1 - 2 blocks from the beach, restaurants and shopping in downtown Gulf Shores. Most of the homes in this area are used as second homes and rental properties due to its convenient location.
Mikkelsen Haven is located approximately 4 miles west of Hwy 59 on Ft. Morgan Rd. The addition is located on the Lagoon. Prices and age of each of these raised beach homes vary greatly. There are numerous remodeled and new homes in this area.
Morgantown is located at the 7 mile marker off Hwy in 180 in Fort Morgan. This addition is another beach front community in the Fort Morgan area that offers both beach front homes and 2nd /3rd tier homes that offer beach access. This newer addition was developed from 2000 - 2005, with 2-5 bedroom floor plans (each raised beach homes) that can costs between $250,000 to over a million dollars. Morgantown has an outdoor pool and tennis courts.
On Golden Pond is located west of Hwy 59 on Beach blvd., right on 13th Street. Homes are either waterfront on Little Lagoon or offer access. Each home has access to an outdoor pool, fishing pier and boat docks (1st come, 1st serve basis). The homes are raised beach style and are only a few minutes walk to the beach.
Osprey Landing is located east on CR 8 just a few minutes north of the Intracoastal Waterway. The addition is on the south side of CR 8 and thus in the Gulf Shores schools system vs. Foley. This newer addition was begun in 2007 with ranch style homes that are typically 3-4 bedrooms and 1700 – 2100 square feet.
Oyster Bay is located north of the ICW on CR 4 West (aka Oyster Bay Rd.). Enjoy some of the most breathtaking sunsets and views from your deck of Oyster Bay. Each of these raised cottage style homes are waterfront that offer access to the Bay, ICW and even the gulf. Prices can range between $300,000 - $900,000 depending on the size of the home.
Pamela Court is located west of mile marker 3 on Hwy 180 toward the end of Fort Morgan. These are gulf front homes, as well as the tiers directly behind the gulf front. These raised beach homes would make an excellent primary residence and well a vacation/rental home. Pamela Court is located close to the historic civil war fort.
Perry's Landing is located just off CR 4 East and Geno Rd. This is a newer subdivision that was developed in the year 2000 and more recently. The homes styles are contemporary and ranch. Many of the homes offer views of Cotton Creek and the Intracoastal Waterway. These is a fishing pier and boat docks that are 1st come, 1st serve. A typical home is 3-4 bedrooms, 1900 - 3000 sq. ft and priced between $150,000 - $350,000.
Ponce De Leon is located 15 west of Gulf Shores on Hwy 180, then left on Ponce De Leon. Enjoy million dollar views at affordable prices! The raised beach homes offer gulf access and prices start in the low to mid $100,000 range.
Ponce De Leon Court is located at mile marker 4 on Hwy 180 in Fort Morgan. The homes are either beach front or 2nd tier homes. Each home is a raised beach house and prices can range from as little as $175,000 and as much as a million dollars.

Raintree Place is located East on CR 8. It is convenient to both Gulf Shores and Foley (but being in the Gulf Shores School system). This is a new subdivision that was begun in 2004 and is still being developed (building lots available). The homes are of a traditional or a ranch style that are 3-4bedrooms, 1500 - 2300 sq. ft that range in price between $125,000 - $175,000. It is a very nice family, neighborhood community.
Rivierer is a small subdivision on Bon Secour Bay just West of Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club. Some of the homes in Rivierer are on the water and have water access. It's quite a ways from here to get into the gulf; it's about in between Perdido Pass in Orange Beach and the end of Ft. Morgan.
Shell Banks subdivision is approximately 4 miles West of Hwy. 59 off of State Hwy. 180 or Fort Morgan rd. The community is on Bon Secour Bay which opens into Mobile Bay. This is an older subdivision in what's commonly referred to as the Fort Morgan road.
Silver Sands subdivision is in the West beach area of Gulf Shores, AL. The homes here are all on Little Lagoon and do not have deep-water access to the gulf, but Little Lagoon is similar to a large lake and smaller watercraft (such as jet skis) can get through West Pass in to the Gulf of Mexico.
South Port is a small community just across the canal from the Gulf Shores airport. The homes in South Port are close to numerous Gulf Shores restaurants, shopping and entertainment venues, especially those at the bend in Canal road on the Southeast corner of the base of the bridge coming in to Gulf Shores from the North.
Stonegate Estates subdivision is just East of Hwy. 59 across from Craft Farms golf course. The community is less than a mile from the Pinnacle center which has a theater and numerous dining and shopping venues.
Summer Wood is a subdivision reached by either County rd. 4 East or more easily from County rd. 6. There are approximately 30 homes in Summer Wood. It's near the Gulf Shores sports complex which is across the street and is a growing amenity for Summer Wood and the area as a whole.
Sunset Bay At Bon Secour is a few miles off of Hwy. 59 down County rd. 4 West. The subdivision is U-shaped surrounding a marina with deep water access to the canal and, in turn, the Gulf of Mexico. The subdivision has a large community center, community pool and a small library.
Surfside Shores subdivision is 14 miles West of Hwy. 59 on Ft. Morgan rd. Surfside Shores is just West of the championship golf club at Kiva Dunes. The community is also walking distance to the beach and Gulf of Mexico.
The Estates of Craft Farms is the subdivisions premier group of homes. The Estates are gated and the homes are large, directly on the golf course and secluded.
The Peninsula is approximately 6 miles West of Hwy. 59 on Ft. Morgan rd. The community shares a racquet club, pool, exercise facility and community center. The golf course consists of 27 holes of championship golf and has a great restaurant.
Treeline is a little subdivision off of East 2nd street in Gulf Shores, AL. The community is near Meyer Park and various other shopping, dining and entertainment venues. This is an ideal area of Gulf Shores for a second home or a great place to buy a home and start a family.
Twin Pines is a great little subdivision near the Peninsula golf club off of Ft. Morgan road in Gulf Shores. The community is basically a circle on the North side of Ft. Morgan road and approximately 10 minutes from the public beach area and the Gulf Shores Hangout.
Venetian Isles is off of 3rd street in downtown Gulf Shores and is practically walking distance to the beach and the Gulf Shores Hangout. This is a small subdivision with few homes, but the location makes them a sought after neighborhood in downtown Gulf Shores.
Wedgewood is on the Gulf Shores Golf Club in central Gulf Shores. The homes are close to downtown Gulf Shores, the beaches and various restaurants, shopping and area attractions. Gulf Shores, AL is a great area and the homes in Wedgewood are located in the center of it all.
Wedgewood Estates is also on the Gulf Shores Golf Club. Basically, Wedgewood is the same thing, just on a different place on the golf course. All of the homes in Wedgewood are a great place to start a family or own a second home.
