Several subdivisions in the area sit on gorgeous championship-quality golf courses in different areas of town. Numerous community parks freckle the landscape here and it is the perfect place to live if you like to be surrounded by greenery all year long. Pine trees, dogwoods, magnolias, and wisteria are just a few of the plants that make Fairhope one of the most beautiful places to be in the spring.
Fairhope is a smaller town, with around 15,000 residents. This number is growing as more and more people choose to live in the Eastern Shore area. Since the completion of the Foley Beach Express, getting away to the Gulf of Mexico in Orange Beach is quick and easy. The nearby I-10 makes travel to both the Foley Beach Express and Mobile a breeze. When you prefer to stay in town, there is never a lack of things to do. The Fairhope Municipal Pier is an ideal spot for an afternoon of fishing or just watching the waves crash to the shore. Across the street from the pier are two of Fairhope’s numerous public parks. Fairhope Avenue is home to many different shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
Some of the most popular subdivisions to live in here are on golf courses. Lakewood, Rock Creek, and Quail Creek are some of the most popular choices. All of the golf clubs at these locations offer courses full of unique challenges in a beautiful setting. Memberships are available even for those who do not live in the subdivision. The scenic Fruit & Nut District is situated near the shore of Mobile Bay and boasts beautiful houses, both young and old. All in all, Fairhope offers a unique and idyllic setting that is well-loved and admired by all who come here.
