The Wharf condos overlooking the marina and Intracoastal Canal
The Wharf at Orange Beach is one of the most unique and all-inclusive venues in the Gulf Coast region. Whether you are single, married, have kids or don't, the Wharf has something fun to offer you. There are several condominium units available for sale within the Wharf property itself. Established in 2007, there are 190 units on the property ranging from one to four bedrooms with a total square footage of 827 to 3,155. If your intent is to invest in Orange Beach real estate you will be interested in the following annual rental revenue production numbers at The Wharf: 1 BR: $19,000+ and 2BR & 3BR units can bring in more than $30,000.
Whether or not you are interested in investing in real estate or looking to find an exciting new place to call home, the amenities included at the Wharf will surely be a focal point of your interest in your decision to purchase. Some of the most prominent features of the Wharf at OBA include: a 10,000-seat amphitheater, marina, Oasis pool & lazy river, ferris wheel (see above photo), movie theater, and numerous excellent dining and drinking establishments.
Miranda Lambert & Little Big Town performing at The Wharf Amphitheater
The amphitheater has hosted several talented acts throughout its time since its inception in May of 2006. Boasting around 10,000 seats, the outdoor, tiered seating arrangement allows for everyone to have an unobstructed view of the performance. The diverse wetland ecosystem supported by towering pine trees surrounding the property provides this venue a picturesque scenery few other concerts can match. Upcoming acts in June 2019 and beyond include Rascal Flatts (7-5), Luke Bryan (7-19, 7-20), Little Big Town (8-17), Brad Paisley (8-22), Chris Stapleton (8-31), Lynyrd Skynyrd (9-28) and more. If indoor entertainment is more your style don’t forget about the 15-screen AMC Classic theater. The oasis pool is a great place to spend a hot summer day. It features a lazy river, children’s play area, three pools, wave pool, lagoon-style pool, waterfalls, whirlpool spa, sand beaches, a hammock island, and a tiki style bar that provides food and cold drinks. This is a truly all-inclusive water-recreation area with something to offer every member of the family.
Before heading to the amphitheater to see your favorite artists or after a hot afternoon at the oasis pool there are incredible options to dine and drink at the Wharf in OBA. More traditional southern dining options include Ginny Lane Bar & Grill, newly opened Blue Water BBQ Company, STK Burger, and YoHo Rum and Tacos (one of my favorites), and the Blind Tiger. Sol y Mar Mexican Grill and Cantina is right for you if you are craving something south of the border and if Italian suits your taste, Villaggio Grille is also a great option. Adult beverages can be found at most of these establishments but Island Time Daiquiris, Red or White Wine, and The Sandshaker (‘Home of the Original Bushwacker’) cater mainly to those who know it is indeed 5 o’clock somewhere.
