Things To Do

We're using a commercial pilot's license to gather aerial imagery of the Gulf Coast from Panama City Florida to Mobile Alabama.  We're adding various helpful resources and information and other things for businesses along the Gulf Coast including restaurants, bars & lounges, amusement parks, theaters and other entertainment info, as well as, comprehensive condominium info with management companies and contact info and investment info.  We update news for events and festivals that take place on the beaches and within our coverage area.  We also publish things from all over the place when we, or our affiliates, travel and collect interesting news or imagery.

As temperatures start to warm up here on the Gulf Coast, we can't help but notice the increase in southbound traffic on Hwy 59 and the Foley Beach Express in route to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.  Although the endless miles of sugar-white beaches draw in the majority of visitors, a large number of vacationers travel down to the area with their boats in tow.  The Alabama coast is covered in a variety of water bodies and with numerous places to launch from it's easy to explore the local waterways and take in the beautiful scenic views.  Orange Beach is famously known as a boater's paradise encompassing 20 miles of back bays, bayous, coves, and inlets meandering throughout the town.

Currently, Orange Beach has just over 40 condominiums offering boat

Locals driving along Beach Boulevard may have noticed the Gulf State Park buzzing with construction activity. Alabama's governor, Kay Ivey, has just announced the Gulf State Park Lodge is on track to open in the fall of 2018. The original lodge was severely damaged by Hurricane Ivan in 2004, and to the dismay of locals and tourists, has fallen in a state of disrepair for over a decade. Using funds from the Deepwater Horizon BP settlement, the new complex will offer a gulf-front hotel, conference room, interpretative center, and a learning campus.

The Lodge is home to the renown Gulf State Park which preserves over 6,000 acres of longleaf pine and palmetto forests, freshwater lakes, wetlands, and miles of beaches. Drawing in hundreds of thousands of

This is our first post in this section of the website and we were thinking, what better way to start a category for fun in the sun, than to talk about the places on or just off of the beach.  We've recently gathered aerial video for some great spots in downtown Gulf Shores and Orange Beach and will start the first parts of this section by including posts from Waterville, the Hangout and the Track in Gulf Shores and Tacky Jacks, the Gulf, San Roc and Perdido Pass in Orange Beach, AL.

These are just examples of our recent posts for fun things to do and places to enjoy while visiting the beach.  The Tacky Jacks video was for our restaurant menus page which offers menus for every restaurant in both Gulf Shores and Orange Beach - the Alabama Gulf Coast.
