Wharf Pepsi Beach Ball Drop

Just a 10 – 15 minute drive from the beach you will find The Wharf located at Foley Beach Expressway and Canal Road in Orange Beach, Alabama. The Wharf is an official entertainment district with an array of amenities, where locals and friends here on vacation can experience hundreds of fun activities and family friendly events throughout the year.

The Wharf will kick off Memorial Day Weekend and the unofficial start of summer with the Pepsi Beach Ball Drop on Friday, May 27. This family fun event is open to all and is free of charge. The Wharf will get the ball rolling on a great summer by dropping 4,000 beach balls from the sky. Some of the balls in the beach ball rain shower will contain a letter that corresponds to a prize for the lucky recipient. In addition to the food, fun and shopping always available at The Wharf, The Pepsi Beach Ball Drop will also have a surf simulator, bounce house, bubble zone, camel rides, rock wall, face painting and more. It’s sure to be an afternoon and evening filled with fun.

Schedule of Events

3-7: Kids Activities
4:30: Beach Ball Drop
7:00: Laser Light Experience

The Pepsi Beach Ball Drop is just one of many ways The Wharf provides entertainment to the Gulf Coast year-round. Just a few of their many events throughout the year include car shows, fishing tournaments, boat shows, concerts, an ice-skating rink in the winter and fireworks over the fourth of July. Year-round attractions consist of a 15 screen cineplex movie theater, one of the tallest Ferris wheels in the southeast, a state of the art arcade, an amphitheater and breakout room. Combine all of this with great places to eat and lots of shopping and The Wharf entertainment district is a place the whole family can enjoy.

What does The Wharf entertainment district mean to real estate investors? The Wharf adds value to the community and that adds value to your investment property. The Wharf is one of the many reasons the Gulf Coast rental season is more than 320 days a year. Year-round rentals mean your investment property will cash flow. Your rental income will more than pay your mortgage for you. Guest flock to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach year round to enjoy our beautiful weather, sugar white sand beaches and the many entertainment options available.

I personally live in Gulf Shores because I love the beach and the small town feel with the entertainment options of a bigger city. I own and rent condominiums on the beach because they are a great investment. My units more than pay for themselves with the rent they bring in. If you are interested in a great investment opportunity, give me a call. I would love to help you find a property that is right for you.
