The popular Hangout Music Festival recently released the lineup for 2017 and tickets are already on sale! Major artists performing at the 2017 Hangout Music Festival will include Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean, Twenty One Pilots, Chance the Rapper, Weezer, and MGMT among others. This annual event attracts thousands of people from all over the country to the pristine white-sand beaches of Gulf Shores. This year, the festival will run from May 19 to May 21 with a special Thursday Kick-off starting at 11:00 in the morning and ending at 11:00 every night. Aside from the live music, there are rides, fresh seafood vendors, a hammock beach, and even a gazebo where couples can get married during the event.
Tickets are currently on sale and there are several different kinds available. General admission tickets are released in phases with a certain number of tickets allotted to each phase. The first round of tickets cost $249, the next round will cost $269, and the final group of tickets cost $289. These general admission tickets come in the form of wristbands which grant buyers admission to the stage area for the entire weekend. Those who want to attend the Thursday Kick-off can get admission for $50. Special VIP tickets are also available for $1,099 and include a number of perks, such as access to the VIP stage-side pool, drinks and food for the whole weekend, a separate entrance to the event, and other special prizes. For those who want to go all out, Super VIP tickets can be purchased for $1,599 and include all the same perks as regular VIP tickets along with gourmet meals in the Hangout Music Festival dining room, a ride to the stages in golf carts, admission to hot tubs by the main stage, and much more. Both VIP and Super VIP tickets include admission to the Thursday Kick-off. This festival is for adults, but those under 18 can gain admission if they are accompanied by an adult and children under five get in free with a ticketed adult.
Throughout the festival, a shuttle service will be provided throughout the nearby coastal area. Some of the Gulf-front condos, including Turquoise Place and Beach Club, are offering packages that include a condo for the length of the stay and tickets to the event. Other condos in the area are offering discounted stays for the weekend of the festival. The shuttle services stop near many of these condos and some are within easy walking distance. Phoenix All Suites is right next door to the Gulf Shores Hangout and all of the Gulf-front condominiums in this picture are within walking distance of the Gulf Shores Hangout. The closest is Phoenix All-Suites which is next door and Regatta is .02 miles from the Hangout. Colonnades and Royal Palms is adjacent to the Gulf State Park, meaning it is the Gulf-front condominium furthest east in the Gulf Shores area. The walk between Colonnades and the Hangout is exactly one mile; about twenty minutes. The Lighthouse is .06 miles away.
West Beach is pictured with the Sandpiper as the furthest condo West and 1.4 miles from Gulf Place. Tropical Winds is 1.2 miles away and Crystal Shores is .09 miles from the Gulf Shores Hangout. Shuttles stop in this area for transportation to and from the music festival.
